This book began with a bold claim: that the greatest cover-up in human history was not political, not the work of governments or armies, but religious—and that it concerned one man, one day, and one precise moment in time.

That cover-up did not happen all at once. It developed gradually over centuries.

Within Judaism, the correct, original timing of Passover—ben ha’arbayim, “between the two evenings” on the fourteenth—was gradually abandoned. Religious leaders, driven by jealousy and fear of losing authority and power, deliberately distanced their observance from the timing that pointed directly to Joshua the Christ as the true Passover Lamb of God. Over time, interpretations and traditions replaced the plain meaning of God’s instructions. By the eleventh century, Rashi’s commentary cemented what had been building for centuries—a redefinition of terms that further concealed the original observance.

Then, in the fourth century AD, traditional Christianity completed the cover-up. Constantine’s Council of Nicaea in AD 325 replaced Passover with Easter, shifted the seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday, and introduced the Trinity—a doctrine borrowed not from scripture but from Rome’s own tradition of triad deity worship. Even the name Joshua was obscured behind Greek and Latin transliterations.

Most significantly, the sign of Jonah—the only sign Joshua Himself said would prove He was the Messiah—was buried beneath the tradition of a Friday “crucifixion” and a Sunday morning resurrection, a timeline that cannot honestly produce three days and three nights.

Yet God said plainly that nothing covered would remain covered, and nothing hidden would remain hidden.

What has been uncovered in this book is the truth that those layers of tradition were designed to bury. Joshua the Christ died on a Wednesday afternoon in AD 31, on the Passover day itself, at the very time the sacrificial animals were being killed and prepared. He was placed in the tomb just before sunset when the first annual High Day began. He remained in the grave through Thursday, Friday, and the weekly Sabbath—exactly three days and three nights. Then, just before sunset on Saturday, He was resurrected, perfectly fulfilling the one and only sign He said would prove He was sent from God—that He was the Messiah.

That resurrection was only the beginning.

On the Sunday morning that followed, Joshua fulfilled the meaning of the Wave Sheaf offering by ascending to the Father to be accepted as the first of the firstfruits—the first human being born into everlasting spirit life in God’s Family. Fifty days later, on Pentecost in AD 31, God poured out His holy spirit upon those who would form His Church. For the first time in human history, it became possible for people within an organized body to live God’s way of life—keeping His laws—not merely through human effort alone, but by the power of God’s spirit dwelling within them.

And all of it—every moment, every Holy Day, every precise detail of timing—was part of a single, unified blueprint that God established before anything was ever created. This blueprint that spans 7,100 years of human existence is only a small portion of a much larger blueprint that runs through infinite time itself. Therefore, we now need to step back and see the far larger canvas on which this sits.

The Span of Infinite Time
The story outlined thus far would remain incomplete unless God’s greater purpose for mankind—and the future potential He intends for human life—were viewed within the far larger framework from which it emerged. It is not enough to understand only the 7,100-year plan for mankind. One must also go back and examine what preceded the creation of humanity and why God designed everything in the manner that He did.

This greater untold story is profound and astounding in every sense. It stretches into ages long before mankind existed and unfolds according to a blueprint established by God Himself.

Such spans of infinite time are difficult for the human mind to comprehend. Human life is physical and temporary by design, and our knowledge and understanding are likewise limited by that physical existence. Yet God has designed and created a process whereby mankind has the potential to receive both infinite life and endless intellect. But before addressing what lies beyond, one must step back and grasp what first began eons before the creation of human life.

This process is much like what had to be done earlier in this book regarding Passover. The meaning of the annual Holy Days could not be seen nor understood without first establishing the foundation of Passover itself. Everything that followed had to be built upon what came first.

In the same way, these final chapters must begin with a broader foundation. The remaining chapters are divided into three separate phases of time that together reveal God’s broader blueprint for all creation.

Even the concept of time itself challenges human understanding. We think in physical terms because our experience is physical. We measure time by the rotation of Earth and by its orbit around the sun. Our entire perception of existence is tied to finite measurements.

As measurements grow larger, they begin to describe realities that exceed our intuitive understanding. When speaking of the universe, we begin to lose grasp of its vastness. We are forced to use measurements like the speed of light and the distance light travels in a year.

Even simple examples become difficult to truly comprehend. The nearest known star beyond our sun, Proxima Centauri, is approximately 4.25 light-years away, or roughly 25 trillion miles away from Earth. Who can really grasp such a thing?

Such numbers become almost meaningless to the human mind because they exceed anything we can genuinely visualize or experience. What God has created within the universe makes Earth look like a little speck of dust and reveals how small mankind truly is. Trying to fully grasp such enormity can overwhelm the mind. Yet God has laid out a more simplified outline so that we can begin to grasp what is truly important—not just the size alone, but the purpose behind it.

PHASE ONE: EONS BEFORE MANKIND
This first phase of time to be covered will lead up to the time of the creation of mankind. God declares that before anything was ever created, there was only Him, and that He has always existed.

Such a reality is difficult for the human mind to accept because human thinking is bound by beginnings and endings. We instinctively measure everything by time because physical existence leaves us no other frame of reference. Yet God exists beyond those limitations. He inhabits infinite time.

The first life ever revealed, therefore, is God Himself—the Eternal One who has always existed. Indeed, no human mind can grasp such a thing. Instead, we naturally seek a starting point for everything because our mind requires sequence and measurement. But God reveals that His existence cannot be measured in that way. Before all creation, before spirit beings, before the universe, before time as mankind understands it, there was only Him.

God reveals Himself as spirit in existence. He had no beginning, and He has no end. He is eternal and has eternal self-existing life inherent in Himself. It is revealed that no other being has such self-existing life.

Trying to understand eternal spirit life with such vastness of infinity is even far beyond trying to comprehend the expanse of the physical universe: We are simply incapable of both! We can’t even come close to making a decent start for mapping out our own galaxy, let alone the universe beyond it. How much more impossible is it, then, to fully comprehend eternal spirit life existing beyond all physical creation?

Yet this Eternal, Self-Existing, Almighty God reveals that He has created all things—both in a spirit realm and in a physical realm.

The human mind cannot fully conceive of such power because spirit existence lies outside physical experience. Spirit cannot be seen, touched, measured, or physically examined. Yet God reveals that it is more real and enduring than the temporary physical world mankind inhabits.

Though we cannot fully comprehend spirit existence, we can begin to appreciate what God reveals about it and grow in understanding of the purpose behind His creation.

God Created Existence Beyond That of Himself
Even though it is impossible for the physical mind to fully grasp eternal existence, God reveals that there was a point when He began to create life beyond Himself.

The first creation was not physical. God first created a spirit realm—described in scripture as heaven—a realm composed of spirit existence. Within that realm, He created spirit beings called angels, sometimes referred to as sons of God. However, these beings were not born from God as part of His Family but were created by Him.

Scripture does not reveal the full number or exact magnitude of this spirit creation. Only portions are described, often according to function, responsibility, or rank. These beings were primarily created to serve God in the furtherance of His purpose and in preparation for a later physical creation that did not yet exist.

Among the angelic realm, three beings are identified as holding positions of the highest authority. They are referred to as the archangels: Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer. God granted them immense power and responsibility over the rest of the angelic creation.

The purpose of discussing these spirit beings here is not to explore every detail concerning angels, but to explain what eventually occurred within that creation and why it became essential to God’s broader plan.

It is also important to understand how these angels were created. God did not create them as robotic servants, incapable of independent thought. They were created as free moral agents—beings capable of reason, choice, judgment, and individual will.

At some point after the creation of the angelic realm, God began the creation of the physical universe.

Scripture does not reveal how long this process took, but it clearly was not an instantaneous act akin to a magician waving a wand. The universe was planned, organized, and brought into existence through purposeful work. From mankind’s perspective of measuring time, this process may have spanned billions or even multiple trillions of years. We simply do not know, as we have not been told, nor could we fully grasp it anyway.

Yet God provides a small example through the seven-day creation week recorded in Genesis. In six days, God restored and prepared the earth for habitation and established life upon it. So, if even the preparation of one planet required ordered stages of work, then most assuredly the creation of countless galaxies, stars, and planetary systems must have involved spans of time beyond human comprehension.

Even mankind’s current understanding of our own solar system remains limited. Astronomers estimate that billions of planetary systems exist within our own Milky Way Galaxy alone. NASA estimates our galaxy may contain between 200 and 400 billion stars, many likely accompanied by planets.

Going beyond that, the number of galaxies in the observable universe is estimated to be as high as 2 trillion. These estimates are based on observations from the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, computer simulations, and statistical extrapolations. Yet even with these tools, we are nowhere close to seeing or understanding it all by any measure.

When considering the vastness of the universe compared to the work accomplished on one small planet during the six-day creation account, the timescales involved become staggering. Human thought can scarcely process such enormity. The universe itself reflects a power and majesty beyond imagination.

Yet within all that vastness, God reveals something astonishing:

His primary focus has not been upon stars, galaxies, or the physical universe itself, but upon the life He created on this small planet called Earth.

Why?

That question lies at the center of everything that follows.

A Physical Creation
After creating the angelic realm, God began the creation of a physical realm—the universe itself. The angelic creation served within this process as God brought into existence solar system after solar system and galaxy after galaxy. This process continued over spans of time so vast that they conceivably extended through billions upon billions, yet more likely trillions, of years.

Even the idea of such creation challenges the human mind because the universe did not emerge from preexisting physical matter. Before God created it, no physical existence existed at all.

This presents a profound difficulty for human reasoning. How can a limited physical mind comprehend a God possessing such power that He could bring into existence space itself and all physical matter within it from that which had no prior physical existence? Mankind simply cannot fully grasp such reality! It is far beyond human comprehension.

Ultimately, it comes down to a matter of belief and faith in what God declares to be true. Yet God has not left mankind without evidence of His power and majesty. The universe itself bears witness to it. Even so, humanity remains largely skeptical and unwilling to believe that such a God exists.

The scientific community generally rejects God as Creator, yet it does acknowledge the immense age of the universe and the earth. Current estimates place the earth at approximately 4.5 billion years old, with life existing upon it nearly 3.8 billion years ago. Though such figures are only estimates and cannot be known with absolute certainty, they at least recognize a timescale involving billions of years.

Traditional religion, however, often rejects even this broader framework of time. Many within traditional Christianity teach that the earth is somewhere between 6,000 and 50,000 years old, while many within Judaism place its age at less than 6,000 years.

Thus, a great divide exists between scientific thought and religious teaching concerning the age of the earth and the existence of life upon it.

Yet the truth is that neither modern science nor traditional religion has fully accepted what God actually says concerning His creation.

The scientific community largely ignores the necessity of a Creator and often treats the existence of physical laws and matter itself as though they require no explanation. Theories regarding evolution and the Big Bang frequently begin with assumptions that bypass the foundational question of how physical existence and governing laws came into being in the first place. In that sense, many conclusions are built upon insufficient premises that leave fundamental questions unanswered by science. Therefore, it falls short of a rigorous application of inductive reasoning (used in science), which depends upon conclusions being drawn from sufficiently complete and accurate evidence.

Conversely, traditional religion—especially in earlier times—often rejected scientific observation altogether and clung to narrow interpretations that failed to account for true evidence of the immense scope of God’s creation.

Throughout history, many have claimed to believe in God, yet far fewer have genuinely believed what God has said.

There is a profound difference between believing in God and believing God.

And God plainly declares that He created both a spirit realm and a physical realm—the vast universe itself.

The Creation of Earth and Life Upon It
Within this first phase of time, there came a point when God turned His attention to the creation of Earth itself. It would become the first place within His physical creation where physical life would exist.

Up to this point, the physical universe had continued to expand as God and the angelic realm continued their work of creating and ordering it over billions upon billions of years. In time, the Milky Way Galaxy came into existence, and within our own solar system, its sun, planets, and the earth in its midst.

Yet the first life placed upon Earth was not the kind of life that exists today. It was prehistoric life. Earth itself, together with that early life, may have existed hundreds of millions or even billions of years ago. That exact period is not known, but what is certain is that clear and overwhelming evidence exists that such life once flourished upon Earth.

The problem is that many confuse this earlier creation with the Genesis account, assuming that Genesis describes the original formation of Earth itself and the very first appearance of life upon it.

But that is not what Genesis says.

The Genesis account in the Bible does not begin by describing Earth as just coming into existence. Rather, it states that in a beginning Earth was created. The text itself places the creation of the “heavens and the earth” before the description of Day 1. Then the account moves forward to a specific point in time when God directed His attention toward the earth and began making changes upon it within the first three days of the creation week.

Those first three days do not describe God creating Earth itself, nor the water upon it. Instead, the account speaks of the earth and waters already existing as God began restoring and preparing the planet for the life that would later be placed upon it.

Some refuse to consider how true science fits within this understanding. Matters that should be obvious are often ignored altogether. On the other hand, the scientific community struggles with the Genesis account because it involves realities that science cannot directly observe, measure, or explain.

This very kind of reasoning from those who ignore what God says is addressed in Romans:

“Because what may be known of God is manifest [Gk – apparent, evident] in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes [His power and very existence] are clearly seen, being understood [coming to an ability to understand] by the things that are made, even His eternal power and divine nature, so that they are without excuse, because that when they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became vain in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became foolish” (Romans 1:19-22).

The point is straightforward. Although many profess belief in God, they do not actually believe what God says. Instead, mankind relies on its own intellect and reasoning to construct explanations it prefers to accept. In doing so, humanity often mistakes its own thinking for wisdom, becoming foolish in the process.

Yet God has left abundant evidence of Himself as Creator.

The very existence of life itself points to design. The order, complexity, and laws that govern the universe testify to a reality that could not exist apart from intelligence and purpose. Life did not emerge from nothing without cause. The physical universe itself cries out that a Creator exists.

God has also left evidence that Earth was created millions or even billions of years ago. Religion should not ignore this evidence.

It exists in microscopic bacterial fossils and in the remains of massive dinosaurs discovered throughout the world. It exists in prehistoric mammoths preserved in Siberian permafrost, allowing scientists to study their skin, fur, organs, and even DNA. Fossilized resin has preserved insects, arthropods, spiders, and even small vertebrates like salamanders in remarkable detail. Many other organisms have been preserved as well.

So, did life exist upon Earth millions or billions of years before the six-day creation week spoken of in Genesis? The answer should plainly be “yes.”

Thus, within the flow of time, Earth was first created, and prehistoric life was placed upon it long before the events described in Genesis. Yet both science and religion remain unaware that this prehistoric world was later destroyed by a great cataclysm tied directly to a catastrophic rebellion within the angelic realm.

These two events are inseparably connected, and they explain why the Genesis account begins in the manner that it does.

A Great Rebellion in the Angelic Realm
At some point within this vast expanse of time in this first phase of time in creation, one of the three archangels, Lucifer, rebelled against God. Scripture does not reveal exactly when this occurred, but it does reveal the magnitude of what took place. After his rebellion, Lucifer became known as Satan, meaning “the adversary,” and the Devil, meaning “the false accuser” or “the slanderer.”

What led up to this rebellion?

Just as God progressively revealed His plan and purpose to mankind over the past 6,000 years, He also revealed aspects of that plan to the angelic realm as they served Him in various capacities during the creation of the universe. Over time, God disclosed more of His plan and purpose to the angels. At one point, He revealed matters concerning the creation of Earth and informed them that, as part of His overall creation, they would participate in the creation of physical life on a planet for the first time.

Then, at a later time, as God continued to reveal more of His purpose to the angels, He disclosed something that stirred deep resentment in Lucifer and many of the angels who followed him. God revealed that He would eventually create mankind as a further and greater phase of His creation on Earth. They were told that humanity would become the pinnacle of God’s physical creation and that mankind’s ultimate potential would surpass that of the angels themselves.

Lucifer had originally been the greatest among the angelic creation. He had been created superior to all other angels in power, beauty, and authority. But once pride and selfish ambition began to corrupt his thinking, he became consumed with exalting himself higher still—even aspiring to rise above God Himself.

For such a being to learn that physical beings, created lower than the angels, could ultimately become greater than the angelic realm was intolerable to him.

Understanding what pride, selfishness, jealousy, and lust for power can produce helps explain what followed.

The angels had been given immense abilities to serve God throughout the creation of the physical universe. They had worked within the formation of stars, planets, solar systems, and galaxies themselves. Human beings cannot truly comprehend such power or how it was exercised, yet God had given the angelic realm great capability within His creation.

Earth had already been formed, and prehistoric life existed upon it.

Then, at a moment in time, all of that life suddenly ceased.

Evidence exists within the scientific community that points to a catastrophic destruction of prehistoric life upon Earth. The devastation occurred so suddenly that many living things were frozen in an instant. What could have caused such a thing?

Some scientific studies suggest a massive asteroid impact. Others point to catastrophic volcanic eruptions, such as the Siberian Traps, as the cause of mass extinction. However, this was not the actual cause of what happened to Earth and all life upon it.

What occurred was the result of the first organized rebellion led by Satan and his demonic followers as they sought to thwart God’s plan and prevent the creation of mankind. Satan’s intent was not merely to destroy life upon Earth, but to destroy Earth itself.

The angels had been given enormous power within the physical creation, and through the misuse of that power they brought sudden devastation upon the planet. The destruction was so violent and immediate that life ceased almost instantly. The atmosphere that sustained life was destroyed, temperatures plunged rapidly, and many creatures perished where they stood—some frozen in place, others swept away by monumental tsunamis, and still others buried beneath massive upheavals of earth and debris.

Vast regions of land shifted violently and were displaced. Some land masses were hurled beyond Earth’s own gravity. Earth itself was left devastated and ruined. Its atmosphere became filled with immense quantities of debris and dust-like material that blocked the light of the sun from reaching the surface.

Although Satan and the demons caused catastrophic destruction upon Earth, they did not stop God’s purpose. It is now important to understand how Satan’s mind became corrupted when he rebelled and why God allowed this to take place.

A Mind “Set” in Evil
There are profound lessons to be learned from this first great rebellion against God that occurred during this phase of creation. Understanding what happened within the angelic realm also helps explain why God, according to a purpose He had established before creating the angels, later created mankind as temporary physical beings and designed the human mind differently from that of the angels.

To understand this, it is necessary to examine what happened to the very mind of Lucifer once he rebelled against God.

The most significant difference between angels and mankind lies in the composition of their minds. Angels were created wholly of spirit essence. Their minds, their reasoning, and their consciousness were entirely of spirit essence, but not of God’s holy spirit.

Because of this, something immediate and permanent occurred once Lucifer sinned against God.

Angels were created with free moral agency. As mentioned, they possessed individuality, independent thought, reasoning, and the freedom to choose of their own will. From the time of their creation, they knew only the ways God revealed to them. God allowed them to participate and share in the physical creation, and they served Him in whatever responsibilities He gave them. There was no conflict, resistance, or questioning of God’s authority or purpose.

That remained true until Lucifer began to think differently.

At some point, he began forming different thoughts and making choices contrary to God’s ways. Those thoughts gave rise to selfish reasoning, pride, and disagreement with God. The moment that process began, his mind changed permanently.

Because angelic minds are spirit in composition, once such a mind chooses to begin thinking differently from God’s ways to one’s own wants and desires that are against God’s purpose, that mind becomes fixed in wrong thinking—in evil forever. Lucifer’s thinking became permanently set in opposition to God. His rebellion was not temporary weakness or momentary failure. His very mind became established in evil—forever set against God.

The same happened to the angels who followed him.

Once any angel sinned and fully embraced rebellion, there could be no return to the relationship they previously had with God. Nor would they ever be in agreement with Him again. By their own free choice, they became adversarial to God permanently.

This change in thinking is highlighted in the Book of Ezekiel. God inspired him to record a lamentation concerning this being:

“Moreover, the word of the ETERNAL came to me, saying, ‘Son of man, take up a lamentation [a formal declaration of grief, mourning, or sorrow] for the king of Tyre, and say to him, “Thus says the ETERNAL God: ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were an anointed cherub who covers, which I appointed you. You were on the holy mountain of God [meaning “in the government of God”]. You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones [in the midst of the other angels, over which he was made a ruler—like a king]. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until iniquity was found in you’”’” (Ezekiel 28:11-15).

Some have assumed that God was referring to a human king who ruled over the literal city of Tyre. Yet the description clearly goes far beyond any human being. This was about one who was created, not born. It was about an anointed cherub who had been given immense authority within the government of God.

Lucifer held a position of extraordinary power within the angelic realm, alongside Michael and Gabriel. The expression describing him as a cherub “who covers” signifies a position close to the very throne and government of God. He was created with great wisdom, beauty, and responsibility.

Yet pride and rebellion arose within him.

Lucifer was perfect in the role and purpose for which he was created until he began thinking in a way contrary and against God. Sin first entered his mind through wrong reasoning and selfish thought. Once that occurred, he became an adversary to God in nature and purpose forevermore. From that point forward, He no longer desired to live in agreement with God. His mind—his thinking—had become corrupted permanently.

Ezekiel continues by describing this transformation:

“Your heart was lifted up [pride] because of your own beauty [how great he came to see himself in his own thinking]. You corrupted [destroyed, ruined] your wisdom [the mind he was given] for the sake of your own brightness” (Ezekiel 28:17).

Lucifer became consumed with self-importance. His thinking turned inward toward pride, vanity, and selfish ambition. Instead of being thankful for what God had given him and giving glory to God, he became captivated by his own perceived greatness.

In doing so, it states that he had ruined or destroyed his spirit mind. He corrupted the very wisdom and reasoning God had originally given him. His mind became distorted and ruined through pride.

Scripture reveals that Satan so deluded himself of his own importance and desire for greatness, that he sought to exalt himself above all the angelic realm and even above God. His desire was to rise higher than the authority that created him.

That is how deeply corrupted and perverted his mind became. As the adversary of God, Satan eventually turned his efforts toward opposing God’s purpose in creation itself—especially God’s purpose concerning Earth and what God intended to accomplish there.

This response of Lucifer against his Creator God was so vile and abhorrent that it resulted in a third of the angelic realm joining him in rebellion. This became the first great apostasy—a massive abandonment of truth and revolt against God within the spirit realm itself.

God later gave warning of another great apostasy that would occur, not among angels, but within His own Church.

These two rebellions are deeply connected because both involve a rejection of truth that God had revealed. Since this book centers upon the Messiah and God’s plan surrounding Him, it is important to understand that the Feast of Trumpets that announces the events leading to Christ’s second coming are also preceded by this second great apostasy.

God gave prophecy that a falling away would occur within His Church shortly before Joshua the Christ returns as Messiah and King. That apostasy was given as a prophetic sign marking the beginning of the final countdown to Christ’s return.

That apostasy has already occurred. This subject is discussed in greater detail in the previous book, The Fall of the United States.

This should serve as a sobering witness that mankind now stands very near the time of Christ’s second coming.

God’s Plan for Creation Continued On
Although Satan and the demons caused catastrophic destruction upon the earth, including the sudden destruction of all life on it, they did not stop God from continuing with His purpose to create mankind.

God is Almighty and He could have intervened immediately to prevent such rebellion, yet He allowed evidence of that destruction to remain so that, in time, mankind could learn from what occurred. The lessons that can be gleaned are invaluable.

Satan’s rebellion did not catch God off guard, just as the death of His Son was not an event unforeseen by Him. From the very beginning of time as we know it, God knew that both of these events would occur. Yet this does not mean that God caused or predestined them. Rather, in His perfect wisdom, He understood what free moral agents would eventually choose and planned accordingly. Everything He purposed from the moment He created the angels has been centered on mankind and the lessons we must learn in order to eventually become a part of the God Family. It is difficult for the human mind to grasp the power of such an all-knowing God and His infinite wisdom.

Though God continued His ongoing creation throughout the universe, there eventually came a time when He returned His focus to Earth in order to fulfill His purpose for creating mankind. This may have occurred millions upon millions of years after the destruction of prehistoric life. Scripture does not reveal the exact span of time, nevertheless, it was immense.

Then, when the appointed time arrived, God began the work on Earth that is recorded in Genesis as the creation week.

At this point, it becomes essential to understand the critical lesson revealed through the angelic rebellion, because it explains why God created mankind differently from the angels.

Once again, Lucifer’s mind was composed entirely of spirit essence. The moment he fully turned against God through sin, his thinking became permanently set in evil. That is the nature of a spirit mind once it turns against God. Once corrupted, a spirit-composed mind remains fixed in opposition to God forever and has no desire to ever return to God’s ways.

God knew this would eventually become the inevitable result of creating spirit beings with free moral agency.

Therefore, when God created mankind, He did not create humanity with the same kind of spirit-composed mind possessed by angels. Instead, He created mankind with a physical mind—one capable of growth, learning, repentance, and change.

This difference was fundamental to God’s greater purpose for human life.
